Delhi – Ayodhya – Delhi
Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama, is considered one of the seven most sacred places in India. Situated on the banks of the Saryu River, about 135 km east of Lucknow, Ayodhya was known as Saket in ancient times. The city is mentioned in numerous legends and stories, including the epic Ramayana.
India’s biggest festival, Diwali, has its origins in Ayodhya. The entire city was illuminated with clay lamps to welcome the victorious Rama as he returned home after defeating Ravana.
Day 01: Delhi – Ayodhya (by flight)
In the morning, transfer to Delhi airport to board your flight to Ayodhya. Upon arrival, you will be transferred from Ayodhya airport to your hotel. Later in the evening, visit the Ram Mandir for Darshan. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Ayodhya – Delhi (by flight)
Early in the morning, visit the religious sites of Ram Janmabhoomi and Hanuman Garhi. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, transfer to the airport in time to board your flight back to Delhi.
