Embark on an early morning adventure as you board the Swarna Shatabdi train at 07:20 hrs, destined for Amritsar. Anticipate your arrival in Amritsar at 13:25 hrs. Upon reaching Amritsar, our representative will be there to greet you and facilitate your transfer to the hotel.
Later in the afternoon, immerse yourself in the unique experience of witnessing the changing of guards’ ceremony between India and Pakistan at the Wagah Border. Afterward, return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Amritsar.
Day 2: Exploring Amritsar – Return to Delhi by Train (Swarna Shatabdi – 1700 hrs / 2305 hrs)
Begin your day with a hearty breakfast, followed by a visit to the iconic Golden Temple, a revered and holiest place for the Sikh community, also known as Hari Mandir. Continue your exploration with a visit to Jallianwala Bagh, a memorial park that commemorates the tragic event of the 1919 massacre, where 2000 Indians were killed or wounded in indiscriminate British gunfire.
As the afternoon unfolds, you will be transferred to the railway station to board the train back to Delhi. Set off on the Swarna Shatabdi Express at 17:00 hrs. Upon your arrival in Delhi at 23:05 hrs, our team will be there to receive you and escort you to your pre-booked hotel.
