Delhi – Haridwar — Rishikesh – Delhi
Haridwar, one of the holiest pilgrimage sites in India, is known as the ‘Gateway to the Gods.’ It is situated where the sacred river Ganga enters the Indo-Gangetic plains. Nestled at the foothills of the Himalayas, Haridwar is a city of temples and ashrams, with a pious ambiance that envelops everyone who visits.
Rishikesh, known as the “Gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas” and the “Yoga Capital of the World,” is a city renowned for its spiritual and serene atmosphere. Since 1999, it has hosted the annual International Yoga Festival in the first week of March. Rishikesh is a strictly vegetarian and alcohol-free city, emphasizing its dedication to purity and spiritual practice.
Day 01: Delhi – Haridwar (by drive)
In the morning, drive to Haridwar. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Later, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Haridwar, visiting various ashrams and temples, including Mansa Devi Temple, Chandi Devi Temple, and other notable temples. In the evening, after sunset, head to Har Ki Pauri to attend the famous Ganga Aarti. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Haridwar – Rishikesh (by drive)
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Rishikesh. Upon arrival, proceed with a sightseeing tour of Rishikesh, visiting Lakshman Jhula, Ram Jhula, and Gita Bhawan. Spend some time exploring the Rishikesh market at your own pace. In the evening, you can witness the aarti at Triveni Ghat. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Rishikesh – Delhi (by drive)
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a free morning to relax. Later, drive back to Delhi.
